Timeline SantaRosa
The real estate market in Colombia is beginning to develop and acquire a level of sophistication that requires specialized services in the financial and real estate structuring of projects.
SantaRosa was born as a financial advisor specialized in the structuring of real estate projects for rent.
SantaRosa leads the financial structuring of one of the first hotel projects to be born under the Built To Rent concept in real estate trust.
SantaRosa continues to advise the market, participating directly in more than 9 hotel projects with local and international brands.
Additionally, it opens its portfolio of services to projects with commercial and corporate uses.
SantaRosa becomes a founding partner of the AKTIVOS INMOBILIARIOS fund for COP 450,000,000,000,000, under a strategy of buying stressed assets, conversions, BTS, change of use, SLB, and others.
For five years SantaRosa participated as manager of the AKTIVOS INMOBILIARIOS fund in which it was able to execute the fund's investment strategy.
In 2018 SantaRosa sold its stake in the fund.
SantaRosa, begins a new phase as an investment bank specialized in the real estate sector, addressing the new market dynamics of investment funds, corporate companies, family offices, and real estate projects in general.
SantaRosa leads the structuring of several real estate projects such as the definition of the real estate strategy of Eterna S.A. group, the structuring of the SLB Acertek transaction, the renegotiation of all the real estate contracts of COLWAGEN S.A.S.
Participated as appraiser for the Intercontinental Hotel in Cartagena; participated as property and asset manager for Ashmore-Avenida, and others.
Beginning of an internal focus on innovation and the digital revolution (Proptech). Beginning to link roles dedicated to research and development of technology applied to the real estate sector.
SantaRosa has one of its most relevant projects structuring the SLB transaction of Auteco S.A. At the same time, it begins to consolidate the investment banking, property management, asset management and real estate technology teams.
SantaRosa achieves the consolidation of a multidisciplinary team that integrates technological solutions throughout the value chain of the real estate sector.
With this, it defines a new long-term strategy and includes the digitalization of business processes and the offer of products and services to the market.
